Description
A combination of both emission and reflection nebula the Trifid Nebula is a beautiful site to behold. Believed to be about 5200 light-years distant. A combination of 177 x 15 seconds exposures. Image obtained at our observing site, Linden Observatory, 19th August 2006. Celestron GPS11 telescope in altazimuth mode at f3.3, Meade DSIc.
